So far my trip has gone really great, better than expected actually! I got tons of clothes/shoes from my aunts, but everything though is pretty backwards in Pakistan and Dubai.

  • Street lanes are on opposite sides in Pakistan. So your driving on the left side of the road not the right like in America.
  • Steering Wheels are on the right side of the car instead of the left.
  • Bathroom Faucets - It’s cold on the left knob and hot on the right knob even though it says cold on the right knob and hot on the left knob.
  • People love waking up early….like around 6am!

Besides that I’ve basically been adjusting to the timezone. It’s really hard staying awake; I’m falling asleep at 7pm and waking up at 3am! Once, I get adjusted to that and the MAJOR heat in Pakistan especially Dubai then I’ll go out shopping on my own. I need to look for things for mis amigas!

I’m living with my uncle in Dubai and his house is gorgeous! Surrounding the area he is leaving in, they’re building Dubai Land (Disney), Universal Studios, Sea World, Motor World, and Sports World! It’s unbelievable!! But my problem is that they’re going to be outside (without a roof or A/C) which I can’t stand especially in 110 degrees F and higher weather!

I’m going to busy adding new affiliates and hostees so check back later!

  • Woah, I would have a lot of trouble getting used to all those changes. It’s a good thing I’m not driving yet; I probably would have caused so many accidents. xDD

The heat sounds awful. But shopping would be fun! Are you just over there with your family, or did any friends come along? Vacations with friends are so much fun.

  • Allt he things you listed are absolutley normal in the UK. We drive on the left, have the wheel on the right, oh wait I dont think our cold water is on the left, and Icertianly don’t like waking up early but I normale ‘have’ to.

In bangladesh the poeple over there love to wake up early aswell …wierd.

  • Yeah, I have jetlag too sometimes when I travel. I went to London and fell asleep at 5pm and woke at 6pm XP but your uncle’s house sounds really great. I’ve heard of Dubai being really super gorgeous, but it’s hot like you said. And that’s a darn lot of Worlds going on there lol

  • I wake up at 6 am! but I do it because no one else is up! So everyone getting up would defeat the purpose!

    Glad you’re having fun!

  • whoaaa ok, i thought only britain and japan had steering wheels on that side :P

covering pimples - use a concealer
the blue & the black pencils - either way you can put it on but i think blue on the top is better :D

  • I’m glad you’re having fun! Dubai sounds pretty amazing, even if it is really hot. I suggest getting one of those fans with a water sprayer (idk what it’s called), so you can spray yourself with water and then fan yourself - heaven.
Haha, it’s like that here in England too (driving on the other side & the steering wheel thing) so whenever we go to America or wherever, it takes some adjusting (:
Enjoy the rest of your holiday!
